The invention relates to an adapter for fastening a pipe clamp to a rail with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
In the case of generic adapters, the pipe clamp is attached to the adapter via a first bayonet lock. The adapter and the mounted pipe clamp are attached to the rail using a second bayonet lock. Both bayonet locks are formed on the adapter. The problem with this is that the first bayonet lock, which engages on an upper side of a base body of the adapter, requires a very specific thickness of the base body. The fastening can be done without tools, but all pipe clamps that are to be used with such an adapter must have a base body with this thickness. The adapter cannot be used universally regardless of the thickness of the base body of the pipe clamp.
The object of the invention is to provide a generic adapter, which can be used preferably without tools, and which can be used more universally.
This object is achieved by an adapter having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.
The fact that the fastening device has at least one clamp which can be inserted into an opening arranged on the pipe clamp and holds the pipe clamp on the adapter in the assembled state, one and the same adapter can be used for pipe clamps with different thicknesses of the base body, as it is for the fastening of the pipe clamp on the adapter is not necessary that part of the adapter encompasses the base body, but the clip is inserted into the opening (which can be designed as a slot, for example) regardless of the thickness of the base body, which can always be placed in the same place . A tool-free use is possible as in the prior art.
The clip has a web and a tongue protruding from the web. The clip is to be inserted with the tongue into the opening on the pipe clamp. The length of the web (between a base body of the adapter and the tongue) is selected so that the tongue is at the level of the opening when the pipe clamp is in contact with the base body of the adapter. The tongue is articulated to the web or the web is articulated to a base body of the adapter (in each case preferably via a flexible joint). Such an articulated connection allows a certain mobility of the tongue when it is inserted into the opening arranged on the pipe clamp.
Preferably, a locking device for locking a free end of the bracket (possibly the tongue of the bracket) is provided relative to the adapter. This enables the clamp to be secured against unintentional loosening relative to a base body of the adapter when the pipe clamp is connected to the adapter. The locking device can be designed as a latching lug or as a mandrel that can be inserted into an opening arranged at the free end of the clamp. At least one driver can be arranged on the locking device, by means of which a rotational force exerted on the pipe clamp can be transmitted to the adapter when the pipe clamp is mounted on the adapter. This prevents the pipe clamp from twisting relative to the adapter. If it is provided that the fixation device of the adapter is designed as a bayonet lock, with the bayonet lock being actuated by applying a rotational force to the pipe clamp, the at least one driver prevents the locking device from being opened unintentionally by the rotational force, because the rotational force is controlled by the driver from the Locking device (z. B. in a base body of the adapter) is transferable.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the clip has a centering projection (z. B. knob) which can be inserted into a recess arranged on the pipe clamp. This allows an automatic central alignment of the pipe clamp on the bracket of the adapter regardless of the width of the pipe clamp.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that a positioning aid for the pipe clamp is arranged on a base body of the adapter. This allows correct positioning of the pipe clamp pre-positioned on the clamp on the base body of the adapter.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the fixing device for fixing the adapter on the rail has a bayonet lock. In this case, the pipe clamp can be connected to the adapter via a sliding movement and the adapter together with the attached pipe clamp can be connected to the rail via a rotary movement. Thus, different types of movement are provided for fastening the pipe clamp to the adapter on the one hand and fastening the adapter to the rail on the other hand.
It can be provided that the adapter is formed in one piece and is preferably made of a plastic. Alternatively, the adapter can be made from a metal, especially to provide a higher load-bearing capacity. A one-piece design of the adapter is also possible in this case, but preferably a separate production and subsequent connection of the fixing device and the remaining parts of the adapter takes place.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the adapter has a base body and on that side of the base body on which the pipe clamp rests in the assembled state, at least one stop for the pipe clamp is arranged. Through the at least one stop, a rotational force applied to the adapter by means of the pipe clamp can be transmitted to the fixing device, which is particularly advantageous if the fixing device has a bayonet lock.
Protection is also sought after for an arrangement with an adapter according to at least one of the embodiments described above and a pipe clamp having an opening, the clamp of the adapter being inserted into the opening and holding the pipe clamp on the adapter.
It is preferably provided that the opening is arranged on a base body of the pipe clamp. The opening can be designed as a through opening.

1 to 3 show an adapter 1 with a base body 8 on which a clamp 4 of a fastening device for fastening a pipe clamp 2 to the adapter 1 is arranged on one side. On the other side of the base body 8, a bayonet lock 9 of a fixing device, which has two wings 91, is arranged, by means of which the adapter 1 can be fixed on a rail 3. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the adapter 1 is designed in one piece.
In the embodiment shown, the clamp 4 has a web 41 which is arranged on the base body 8 and on which a tongue 42 is articulated about an axis parallel to the base body 8 via a flexible joint 43. The free end of the tongue 42 of the clamp 4 can be secured against movement away from the base body 8 by means of a locking device. The locking device has a locking lug 5 which engages behind the tongue 42 when it is aligned approximately parallel to the base body 8. In order to allow a movement of the tongue 42 from an open position into this position, the latching lug 5 can be pressed out of the way by the tongue 42 during a movement towards the base body 8. In order to design this evasive movement of the latching lug 5 in a defined manner, it can be provided that the latching lug 5 is connected to the base body 8 in an articulated manner via a flexible joint 15.
4a and 4b show a known pipe clamp 2 with a base body 7, two wings 21 for receiving a pipe, an opening 6 arranged in the base body 7, a recess 16 for a positioning aid 12 of the adapter 1 and a recess 10 for a centering projection of the adapter 1.
A pipe clamp 2 can be fastened to a rail 3 using an adapter 1 according to the invention as follows: The pipe clamp 2 is preferably fastened to the adapter 1 first. For this purpose, the pipe clamp 2 is pre-positioned on the adapter 1 in such a way that the tongue 42 of the clamp 4 is inserted into the opening 6 arranged here on the base body 7 of the pipe clamp 2 (see FIG. 5a). The opening 6 is designed as a through opening so that the tongue 42 can be guided completely through the opening 6 and protrudes with its free end over the base body 7 of the pipe clamp 2.
Because the clamp 4 has a centering projection 11 on its side facing away from the base body 8, which can be inserted into a recess 10 arranged on the pipe clamp 2, an automatic central alignment of the pipe clamp 2 on the clamp 4 of the adapter 1 takes place independently of one Width of the pipe clamp 2.
After the pipe clamp 2 has been pushed onto the clamp 4, the clamp 4 together with the pipe clamp 2 can be pivoted in the direction of the base body 8 by exerting pressure on the pipe clamp 2 or the clamp 4. The free end of the clamp 4 presses the locking lug 5 out of the way until the tongue 42 of the clamp 4 is in a position approximately parallel to the base body 8. The locking lug 5 snaps back and prevents the tongue 42 from inadvertently moving away from the base body 8 (see FIG. 5b). In order to release the tongue 42, the locking lug 5 can be manually pivoted away from the tongue 42 until the locking lug 5 releases the tongue 42.
It can be seen that a positioning aid 12 for the pipe clamp 2 is arranged on the base body 8 of the adapter 1. This allows correct positioning of the pipe clamp 2 prepositioned on the clamp 4 on the base body 8 of the adapter 1. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the positioning aid 12 is so protruding that it allows the tongue 42 of the clamp 4 to move approximately horizontally to the base body 8 of the Adapter 1 aligned position only permitted if the positioning aid 12 is completely received in the recess 16 provided for this purpose on the pipe clamp 2.
A driver 13 is arranged on the locking device, through which, in an assembled state of the pipe clamp 2 on the adapter 1, a rotational force exerted on the pipe clamp 2 can be transmitted to the adapter 1. In contrast to what is shown (driver 13 only on one side of the locking lug 5), such drivers 13 can also be provided on both sides of the locking lug 5.
On that side of the base body 8 on which the pipe clamp 2 rests in the assembled state, two stops 14 for the pipe clamp 2 are arranged in the embodiment shown, which are designed here as rails. A rotational force applied to the adapter 1 by means of the pipe clamp 2 can be transmitted to the fixing device by means of stops, which is particularly advantageous if the fixing device has a bayonet lock 9.
Now the arrangement of adapter 1 and pipe clamp 2 connected to it can be fastened to the rail 3 by inserting the adapter 1 into the rail 3 or placing its base body 8 on the rail 3 in such a way that the wings 91 of the bayonet catch 9 parallel to the direction of the rail channel. The arrangement is then rotated via the pipe clamp 2, which acts as a lever until the wings 91 of the bayonet catch 9 of the adapter 1 engage behind the walls of the rail channel. Another type of connection of the arrangement to the rail 3 (e.g. via a screw connection) would of course also be conceivable.
Fig. 6a shows an alternative design of the fixing device of the adapter 1 (this is only shown in the area of its base body 8, but can be designed as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2) as a snap connection with two spring hooks 18, which move resiliently when inserted into the rail 3 and thus allow the insertion and, in the inserted state, engage behind an inner wall of the rail channel.
6b shows a further alternative embodiment of the fixing device of the adapter 1 (this is only shown in the area of its base body 8, but can be configured as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2) as a screw connection with a screw connection on the base body 8 fastened or formed threaded pin 19, which can be screwed to an abutment 20 which has a thread and is here disk-shaped.
Fig. 6c shows an alternative design of the locking device for the clamp 4 of the adapter 1 (this is only shown in the area of its base body 8, but can be designed as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2). The tongue 42 has an opening into which a mandrel 17 can be inserted. When inserted into the opening, the mandrel 17 prevents the tongue 42 from moving away from the base body 8 of the adapter 1.
